Premier League teams have already invested more funds in signings than teams from the rest of major five leagues this summer.
According to Transfermarkt, Premier League clubs have already spent 581.20m euros, followed by Serie A (306.68m), Bundesliga (236.93m), Ligue 1 (187m) and LaLiga (135.4m).
Darwin Nunez: The most expensive player in the Premier League so far
No Premier League team have invested more than Tottenham Hotspur (87.20m), who are followed by Liverpool (85.79m) and Newcastle United (66m).
Darwin Nunez has been the most expensive signing thus far, with Liverpool having paid Benfica a 75m euro fixed fee plus 25m euros in variables. Meanwhile, Erling Haaland joined Manchester City from Borussia Dortmund for 60m euros.
Atalanta (42m) have spent more than any other Serie A club, followed by Juventus (40m) and Napoli (36m), with Roma, Fiorentina and Lecce being the only teams who have yet to pay a fee to sign a player.
Meanwhile, the two Bundesliga giants, Borussia Dortmund and Bayern Munich, have spent 55m and 50m euros, respectively.
Ligue 1 and LaLiga fall out of the top three
No Ligue 1 side have spent more than Paris Saint-Germain (79.5m), who are followed by Marseille (44.90m).
In Spain, Real Madrid spent 80m euros to sign Aurelien Tchouameni, with Real Betis being the second biggest spenders (18m), followed by Real Sociedad (12m).
