The alleged assault on Roy Keane is claimed to have left blood on the floor at the Emirates.
Keane, who was on Sky Sports pundity duties for Arsenal's clash against Manchester United, is said to have been headbutted by an unknown individual.
The Metropolitan police have stated they are already investigating the incident, which saw Micah Richards diffuse the situation.
An eyewitness told the Express: "The incident occurred shortly before the 90th-minute mark in the Highbury Bar for platinum members.
"The fan seemingly tried to head-butt Roy Keane. I then saw a mark between his eyebrows.
"Micah Richards stepped in and pushed the fan back against the door. I heard the altercation and I was shocked to see the individuals involved.
"Richards was very forceful at keeping the fan from attacking Keane and neither their security nor the door security could split the two apart. Keane was asking nearby staff to call the police.
"Additional security was called in and Richards and Keane followed until the fan was escorted downstairs via the escalator out of the building.
"Presumably, Keane and Richards then returned to their Sky Sports duties via the exit that they came in through next to where the video is shown.
"Afterwards, we noticed a small amount of blood on the floor on the route where the fan was led out. Seems like Micah Richards was acting as Roy Keane's bodyguard."

Jadon Sancho has made a mistake in calling out Manchester United boss Erik ten Hag publicly.
That is according to talkSPORT pundit and ex-Chelsea midfielder Andy Townsend, who gave his view on the winger's statement.
Speaking on the talkSPORT Breakfast show, he said: "I find, if Ten Hag is going public with 'Jadon's not training particularly well,' I'd be annoyed if I was Jadon Sancho and he hadn't said that to me first.
"I'd be annoyed if he didn't come up to me and said, 'listen, I need more out of you Monday-Friday, never mind Saturday and Sunday, I need more out of you during the week'.
"Now if he hasn't said that, and all of a sudden he's just turned round and trotted that one out to the press saying that Sancho is not doing enough in training, that would annoy you.
"[But] do you jump on social media straight away? I don't think it's a good thing to do."
Rangers legend Ally McCoist added: "I think the problem that Jadon Sancho has at this moment in time, is he's got nowhere to go with his level of performances.
"If he's playing well and he's been left out of the team then he might have a case."
To which Townsend stated: "He's had a handful of decent games [since joining from Borussia Dortmund], that's all he's had."

Rio Ferdinand believes Jadon Sancho could make the move to the Middle East following his statement on Sunday.
The Manchester United winger hit back at boss Erik ten Hag on social media after he was accused of performing poorly in training.
And club legend Ferdinand believes that Sancho may have played his last game for the Red Devils, as he suggested a switch to Saudi Arabia could be on the cards.
Speaking on his FIVE YouTube channel, he said: "There's no way Jadon's putting out a statement like that if he hasn't, in his own eyes, performed well.
"On his chart, Jadon, 'I've trained alright'. But the manager have a certain standard.
"There's only one way this ends right now. Well, two ways.
"There's only one window open and that's Saudi. Or you're on the bench or not getting in the squad for the rest of the season."

Jadon Sancho was not happy with his manager, Erik ten Hag for claiming the player had not been performing well in training during the week.
The England forward has struggled to settle in at Manchester United since his £73m move in 2021 and claimed he is being scapegoated on Sunday evening.
In response to Ten Hag's post-match interview, he said: "Please don't believe everything you read! I will not allow people saying things that is completely untrue.
"I have conducted myself in training very well this week. I believe there are other reasons for this matter that I won't go into, I have been a scapegoat for a long time which isn't fair!
"All I want to do is play football with a smile on my face and contribute to my team.
"I respect all decisions that are made by the coaching staff, I play with fantastic players and grateful to do so which I know every week is a challenge. I will continue to fight for this badge no matter what!"
