Philippe Coutinho was dealt a further blow at Barcelona as he was named on the bench on Thursday night.
The Brazilian has endured a torrid time at the Nou Camp and now looks to find himself behind the club's lastest academy stars.
Ronald Koeman watched on as his side drew 0-0 at Cadiz with speculation about his own future still rife.
He opted to start teenagers Gavi and Yusuf Demir whilst leaving Coutinho on the bench.
The former Liverpool man was bought on for the final 20 minutes but couldn't help his side find a winning goal as they played with 10 men following Frenkie De Jong's red card.

Coutinho remains Barcelona's record signing following his arrival in January 2018.
He arrived to much fan fare after the Spanish side had tried to sign him six months earlier.
The playmaker was poised to fill the void left by Neymar, but has never hit the heights he did at Anfield with injuries and a lack of form hampering his spell.
On numerous occasions he has been linked with the exit door as Barcelona aim to cut their losses.
A loan spell to Bayern Munich is the only time he left the Nou Camp however and buyers don't appear to be interested.
Koeman also faces a nervous wait to see whether his time in Catalunya will be cut short.
Barcelona president Joan Laporta claimed before Thursday's stalemate that manager's are reliant on results.
"Koeman's future doesn't depend on the result tonight," he told El Chiringuito. "We are with the coach. He's Barca's first-team coach, and what we want is for things to go well.

"All coaches, not just Koeman, depend on results, and in Barca's case, on their style of play. Koeman is our coach, and we're with him today."
Koeman refused to take questions in a press conference earlier this week, instead reading out a statement that cited the need for patience if Barcelona are to again become a leading light in Europe.
He said: "The club stands with me as the coach in a situation of rebuilding. The financial situation of the club is connected to the sporting activities and vice versa.
The Brazilian couldn't make an impact from the bench
"This means that we as a team have to rebuild without having to make any big financial investments. This needs time.
"The young talent today could end up being the next big world stars in just a few years. In order to reconstruct this team, young players must get opportunities like Xavi and Andres Iniesta had in their day.
"But we must ask for patience."
