Pep messes with Grealish's hair and Haaland scores as Man City train in Texas

Summer signings Erling Haaland and Julian Alvarez with in the thick of the action, along with England international Jack Grealish in Texas.

While spirts seemed high in the City camp, the players were certainly feeling the effect of the Houston heat.

In a video posted on Twitter by the club, Riyad Mahrez, who has recently put pen-to-paper on a new deal, and Oleksandr Zinchenko, who looks set to join Arsenal, can be seen playing Teqball in the gym.

New signing Haaland, who joined the club from Borussia Dortmund, looked sharp as he powered a glancing header into the net beyond goalkeeper Ederson.

Guardiola can also be seen in the clip cheekily pouring water over the head of forward Grealish.

The England international had previously took to social media to give an insight into the souring temperatures in Texas.

Fans also got glimpses of Kalvin Phillips, who was seen stretching and going through several exercise drills and ball work with the rest of his teammates.

And the players completed their session with a much-needed cool off in ice baths.

Pep Guardiola's side face clash against both Club America (July 21) and Bayern Munich (July 24), before taking on Jurgen Klopp's Liverpool.

The Sky Blues will travel back to England for the the Community Shield curtain-raiser, which will take place at Leicester City's King Power Stadium.
