Lingard is still without a club after leaving Nottingham Forest in the summer despite a short training stint with Saudi Pro League outfit Al Ettifaq.
The midfielder had been linked with a move to Everton after the Toffees looked to bring him in on a trial with the view to a short-term deal.
Meanwhile, reports in Spain claimed Lingard had offered himself to reigning La Liga champions Barcelona.
As the season approaches its midway point, Lingard is no closer to finding a club but that hasn't stopped the 31-year-old from keeping himself in optimal shape in case an opportunity comes his way.
Lingard recently posted a host of pictures to his Instagram account showing off his training sessions while in Dubai.

But Manchester United legend Scholes, didn't take too kindly to the posts and issued some strong words to the free agent.
Scholes said: "Are you just gonna f**k about in the gym or are you actually gonna play football?"
The 49-year-old has never been one to sit on the fence and threw out a challenge to Lingard to get himself back into football.
But Scholes' gripes didn't end there as he went on the warpath after watching Manchester United limp to a 2-0 FA Cup third round win over Wigan on Monday night.
