A video of Paul Scholes, which has since been dubbed the 'Class of Ninety-Toe', appearing to chew on his daughter Alicia's toenails has emerged on social media, prompting widespread amusement and shock.
In a video captioned 'true love' and posted to her 62,000 followers, the legendary former Manchester United manager appeared to be giving her a foot rub, while also chewing on her big toe.
It is very unclear as to why the two-time Champions League winner was doing this, but the footballing world has nevertheless been left in a state of confusion, shock, and amusement.
The 46-year-old has been in the headlines for much of this week, after many supporters felt his reactions to United's dramatic 3-2 victory against Atalanta in the Champions League were far too cynical.
However, it is fair to say most of his views have been forgotten, as most of the footballing world came together to mock the former United star.

One wrote: "Think it's time we take him out of the Gerrard, Lampard debate after that one."
Another added: "Gerrard was clear anyway."
"I'm speechless," another respondent wrote.
Scholes will be watching his former side take on fierce rivals Liverpool at Old Trafford, in what could be a pivotal moment in Manchester United's season.
Jurgen Klopp's side are the only team in the Premier League to maintain their unbeaten start to the season.
Defeat to the Merseyside club, as well as other results going against them, could see United drop down to seventh position.
Scholes did not hesitate to convey his concern and perceived realism of United's current form, as he believes a repeat of United's first-half performance against Atalanta could see them on the receiving end of a Liverpool hiding.
"I get the United excitement, but that first half put me off the second half and if United were playing a better team, they'd be out of sight," Scholes said on BT Sport.
"They played an Atalanta team who had five players missing and a defender who went off at half-time.

"I get the excitement, but there was something about that first half that was worrying. It lacked unity and that was a worrying sign.
"Can they play against Liverpool like that? Never in a million years. It's a great night and Cristiano [Ronaldo] is the big hero, but the first half was a real worry for me.
"You celebrate every win, but the first half really worried me. People are going to say I'm miserable and I'll maybe be slagged off by some United fans, but I looked at that game thinking about the Liverpool game.

"That first half United had two midfielders playing on their own and if they do that against Liverpool and [Manchester] City they'll be four down by half-time."
United go into the game in sixth position; trailing current league leaders Chelsea by eight points.
They have failed to win their last three Premier League matches and have suffered damaging defeats away to Leicester City and at home to Aston Villa.
