Paul Pogba posed for a photograph with Tyson Fury and Patrice Evra as Manchester United were soundly beaten by Manchester City on Saturday afternoon.
The midfielder, 28, was not available to feature in the Manchester derby as he is midway through a three-game suspension in the Premier League.
Pogba was sent off for a dangerous tackle on Naby Keita just 15 minutes after he came off the bench in the heavy defeat by Liverpool in late October.
He was initially shown a yellow card, but a subsequent VAR check upgraded this to a red as Keita was stretchered off the pitch.
In Pogba's absence, United suffered a 2-0 defeat by City after they were thoroughly dominated for 90 minutes at Old Trafford.

The former Juventus star was present for the match and met one of the club's celebrity fans, world heavyweight champion Fury.
The pair posed alongside former United defender Evra and rapper Tion Wayne, with Fury sharing the picture on his Instagram account and captioning it "afternoon with the lads".
Ahead of kick-off, Fury posted a story driving to the stadium with his children and yelled "come on United".
The undefeated boxer, 33, will have left disappointed after sub-par performance from the home team which raises more questions of manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
Pogba, meanwhile, will also miss the trip to Watford after the international break as he serves the final match of his three-game suspension.
Although he is out of action in the top flight, the United academy graduate started the 2-2 draw at Atalanta in the Champions League in midweek.
Pogba's performance against the Italian club drew criticism from Red Devils legends Rio Ferdinand and Paul Scholes, who accused him of a lack of concentration in central midfield.
"Today Pogba took liberties," Scholes told BT Sport. "There comes a time where you need to be told to sharpen up and play one or two touches.

"All top players have someone behind them saying that because there ain't no player who's perfect every game. He needs to be telling himself that."
Ferdinand added: "Pogba needs someone talking to him all the time. He needs experienced players behind him.
"How old is he 28? He's one of those players where he'll get to 35 doing the same stupid stuff. People know it now they see it every day.
"The biggest thing with Paul is his concentration; he goes away with the fairies all the time."
