Holding has undergone quite the transformation this season, and marked his new look by finally breaking his duck in the English top flight.
The 26-year-old netted the Gunners' first goal in the 2-1 victory over London derby rivals West Ham, with Gabriel scoring the winner after Jarrod Bowen's equaliser on a great day for the club's centre-backs.
Arsenal players all flocked to Holding in celebration after he nodded in from a corner, with the defender - who joined the north London club from Bolton in 2016 - finally scoring a Premier League goal.
But after the match the banter started flying, and Ramsdale couldn't resist a cheeky dig at Holding's goal drought and new barnet, telling reporters: "It's only taken six years and a new hairline!"
Holding underwent a hair transplant procedure to restore his receding hairline last year, having previously discussed how it affected his self-confidence.
But he saw the funny side to his teammate's jibes, as he responded to Ramsdale, 'come on, mate', as Sky Sports reporter Geoff Shreeves laughed at the goalkeeper not to 'spoil his moment'.
It's not the first time Holding has been teased by Ramsdale over his new mop of hair.
During promo for the release of FIFA 22 back in March, the Arsenal goalkeeper took a look at his teammate's stat card - now common content for that time of the year.
But, the photo of Holding was an old one, which prompted Ramsdale to tell the centre-back: "The hair transplant has done you wonders!"
It was all just fun and games from the teammates, with Ramsdale praising Holding for his performance against West Ham, with the win making it three in a row for the Gunners as they chase fourth… or maybe even a third place finish.
"I'm happy for him and Gabby, my two centre-half partners scoring and getting us the win," added the England international.
"This man has come in for Ben [White], so it shows that we've got depth in our squad. It might be a little bit of depth, but it's quality.
"We can rely on each other and we're going to need each and every one of us to do this until the end of the season.
"Every game from now until the end of the season is vital for us to get three points for that fourth place, or third place if we're looking even higher."
