During the first-half of their FA Cup clash at the Emirates Stadium, the Reds midfielder came face-to-face with the Gunners defender on the attack.
They tussled for the ball and then Jones tried to swipe it past the defender, only for White to push him to the ground for a free-kick.
Jones was therefore unable to get past his man but this didn't stop Liverpool fans from hyping up their man for his attempted skill.
Taking to X, one said: "Curtis Jones absolutely destroying Ben White there."
"Jones rattled White," a second simply said along with a skull emoji.

Arsenal and Liverpool had their own great chances to take the lead but the score remained 0-0 at half-time.
The hosts looked the better side at the start before the visitors grew into what proved to be a close-fought battle.
