Ole Gunnar Solskjaer watches daughter Karna make debut for Man United Women

Karna entered the pitch with three minutes to go in a 2-0 FA Cup win over Bridgewater United at Fairfax Park.

The Norwegian pair have become the first ever father-daughter duo to play for Man United, with Karna following in her dad's footsteps as a centre forward.

Former Red Devils boss Ole Gunnar was in the crowd alongside his wife Silje as their daughter made her well-earned step up from the youth ranks to the senior side.

Ole Gunner, who was sacked as men's team manager in November after almost three years at Old Trafford, has been spotted back in Manchester recently supporting Karna as she graduates to professional football.

Solskjaer Snr, who was known as a super sub during his 11 years playing for United, was in attendance last week as Karna scored in a 5-0 win over Aston Villa in the WSL Academy Cup.

Karna, who was born in 2003, joined United in 2019 when her father was managing the men's team, and has progressed rapidly through the ranks.

The forward has scored 13 goals in 12 matches for United Women's U21 side this season, moving up to the U23s and now the first team.

Fans in attendance in Bridgewater were also heard singing 'You are my Solskjaer' post-match, a song coined by Ole Gunnar during his iconic playing career.

Ole Gunnar's wife Silje also played football at a high level, while their sons, Noah and Elijah are also involved in the game, with Noah playing in Norway for Kristiansund and Elijah in United's academy.
