Arsenal star Bukayo Saka sent Liverpool fan Adebayo Akinfenwa wild after a sensational strike against Manchester United.

The Premier League heavyweights were serving up an absolute classic at the Emirates and Saka added extra spice with a truly stunning strike.

Marcus Rashford got the scoring underway with a piledriver from distance that left Aaron Ramsdale stretching before Eddie Nketiah nodded in an equaliser.

And Saka continued the comeback with an outrageous effort to make it 2-1.

It saw talkSPORT co-host Akinfenwa, a keen Liverpool fan, scream in delight: "Oh Lord, what a goal!"

The excitement didn't stop there either as moments later the Red Devils drew level after an error by Ramsdale.

The England international had pulled off a wonderful save minutes earlier but will not want to watch back his attempt to catch the ball from a corner.

Pushing Takehiro Tomiyasu out of the way, he could only paw the ball onto Lisandro Martinez's head, who nodded the ball over the former Sheffield United star and into the goal.

Akinfenwa added in the talkSPORT studio: "Ramsdale will be so disappointed with that."

But the error was inconsequential as Nketiah flicked home his second of the game as the clock struck 90 minutes, handing Arsenal a 3-2 win.

The Gunners face Pep Guardiola's Man City next month in a potentially title-shaping clash at the Emirates in the Premier League, as well as facing them in the FA Cup on Friday.
