Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp is looking at a huge clearout as he bids to rebuild his squad and compete for the Premier League - with as many as nine players set to leave Anfield this summer.
The Reds put up a meek defence of their 2019/20 title win this season, finishing 17 points adrift of Manchester City and only securing Champions League qualification on the final day of the campaign.
Klopp wasn't helped by long-term injuries to key players including Virgil van Dijk, Joe Gomez and Joel Matip, but casting those issues aside, Liverpool have still been below their best.
Daily Star Sport have taken a look at nine players who look set to depart Anfield as Klopp prepares for a summer of rebuilding on Merseyside.
Adrian
Goalkeeper Adrian looks set to leave Liverpool this summer despite being offered a new deal.
The Spanish stopper has been used more than he might have expected since his move from West Ham in 2019, making 24 appearances in all competitions.
But with the prospect of regular first-team football a possibility if he moves back to Spain, it could be the end of the 34-year-old's time on Merseyside.
Ben Davies
January signing Ben Davies hasn't played a single minute for Liverpool since making a surprise £2million switch from Preston North End in January.
That isn't likely to change any time soon following the arrival of Ibrahima Konate and the imminent return of Van Dijk, Gomez and Matip.
With his chances at Anfield looking limited, it wouldn't be a surprise to see the 25-year-old leave the club this summer
Neco Williams
Some of Liverpool's young players have really stepped up to the plate this season - and Neco Williams is one of them.
The 20-year-old has made 14 appearances in his breakthrough campaign, impressing Klopp throughout.
He looks set to continue development out on loan next term with clubs in the Championship sure to be keen.
Georginio Wijnaldum
It's no secret that Georginio Wijnaldum will be leaving Anfield this summer.
The midfielder was given a guard of honour by his team-mates against Crystal Palace on the final day and is expected to complete a move to Barcelona after Euro 2020.
Xherdan Shaqiri
Xherdan Shaqiri has been a useful bit-part player since his move from Stoke in 2018, but his time at Anfield looks to be coming to an end.
The Switzerland international is a transfer target for the likes of Lazio, Roma and Sevilla and could be available for around £10million.
Divock Origi
It's probably a telling sign that even when Liverpool were failing to score goals this season, Divock Origi didn't get a look in.
The Belgian striker has made just 18 appearances- with only nine of those coming in the Premier League.
Klopp looks set to cash in on the 26-year-old, who still has three years left on his contract at Anfield.
Loris Karius
Loris Karius' Liverpool contract doesn't run out until the summer of 2022, but it's hard to see him remaining at Anfield next season.
The German has been out on loan since 2018 and return to his homeland permanently with Stuttgart eyeing a move.
Marko Grujic
Mark Grujic has spent the equivalent of four full seasons out on loan, so it seems unlikely he'll be welcomed back into the fold at Anfield.
The midfielder has impressed at Porto this term, and a return to Estadio de Dragao either on loan or permanently appears a real possibility.
If he does leave Anfield for good, Liverpool will be hoping to get a significant fee for the 25-year-old, who has two years remaining on his current deal.
Harry Wilson
Liverpool have made a fair few quid through selling the likes of Jordon Ibe and Dominic Solanke. Could Harry Wilson be next?
Wilson did well on loan at Bournemouth last season and has caught eye with Cardiff this term, but it's difficult to see him forcing his way into Klopp's first-team plans any time soon.
The Reds could be tempted to cash-in on the 24-year-old, who even in the current market would command a fee of around £15-£20million.
