Netherlands vs. USA: How do both squads compare ahead of World Cup clash?

The Oranje enjoyed an unbeaten group-stage campaign as they picked up two wins and one draw in their three matches to finish top of Group A with a one-point lead over runners-up Senegal.

Louis van Gaal's men are now unbeaten in each of their last 18 matches across all competitions, picking up 13 wins and five draws since a 2-0 defeat at the hands of Czech Republic in June's Euros. last-16 clash.

A first-half strike from Chelsea forward Christian Pulisic was enough to fire USA to a third consecutive knockout-stage appearance as the Stars and Stripes secured a 1-0 victory over Iran in last Tuesday's group finale.

Prior to that, Gregg Berhalter's men were involved in a share of the spoils in their opening two games in Group B, where they played out a 1-1 draw with Wales on November 21 before holding out for a goalless draw versus England four days later.
