Jose Mourinho has coached some of the best players to have played football in recent years.
As tough a task as it is, the Portuguese has decided to name his personal best XI of players to have worked under his orders.
Mourinho, who has managed Benfica, Leiria, Porto, Chelsea, Inter, Real Madrid, Manchester United, Tottenham and Roma during his career, had to take some difficult decisions and leave out illustrious names such as Iker Casillas, Marcelo, Karim Benzema, Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Samuel Eto'o, Wesley Sneijder and Romelu Lukaku.
The team, which he listed for the Daily Mirror, is set up in a 4-3-3 formation, and is as follows: Petr Cech; Javier Zanetti, John Terry, Ricardo Carvalho, Ashley Cole; Claude Makelele, Frank Lampard, Mesut Ozil; Eden Hazard, Didier Drogba, Cristiano Ronaldo.
As many as eight of the XI worked under Mourinho at Chelsea, most of them in his first spell, except for Hazard, who he coached in his second stint at Stamford Bridge.
