The Egypt superstar has come under fire in the past for throwing himself to the ground in an attempt to win a penalty or free-kick for his side.
Salah appeared to go to ground far too easily in the second half at Anfield and his theatrics did not fool the referee.
The talkSPORT commentary team for the match were left wondering why it didn't warrant further punishment.
"I can't understand that. If he's claiming a foul and the referee doesn't think it's a foul why isn't he saying 'well, you're diving'," said former Everton defender Kevin Ratcliffe.
"There was a little bit of contact but there wasn't as much contact as the dive suggested."
talkSPORT commentator Sam Matterface added: "There was a few fingers around the waist. A tickle around the tummy area. Just a tickle."
The Liverpool star could not inspire his team against rivals Everton as they were comfortably beaten 2-0 thanks to an early Richarlison goal and Gylfi Sigurdsson penalty.
Last week, the forward was accused of trying to win a penalty for his team as they were beaten by Leicester.
Salah flopped to the turf in the first-half at the King Power Stadium, under pressure from Ricardo Pereira.
Former Premier League striker Dean Ashton was in the commentary box for talkSPORT at Leicester, and he admitted Salah will keep facing criticism over his diving antics unless he cleans up his act.
And the pundit also accused the Reds ace of going to ground too easily, saying the contact with Pereira was barely enough to undo the Egyptian's laces, let alone fell him to the ground.
"I mean, look, probably the only amount of contact there was that he brushed Salah's laces," said Ashton.
"I think he might have just undone his boot lace with the amount of contact that was involved in that opportunity."
Mohamed Salah faced yet more accusations of diving during Liverpool's Premier League defeat to Everton on Saturday.
