The end of the regular season in the Major League Soccer is approaching and the teams are still battling out to classify to the playoffs and have a chance to play for the championship before all the attention turns to the FIFA Qatar 2022 World Cup in November.
This Tuesday, Los Angeles FC will visit Allianz Field to face Minnesota United, who currently holds the sixth spot in the Western Conference but can't afford to continue their recent slump as other teams are looming and they might end up being left out of the opportunity to play in the playoffs.
While on the other hand, LAFC hasn't been great lately, with five losses in their last six games, with the most recently coming this weekend when they faced Dallas FC and ended up with a 2-1 defeat.

Minnesota will look to take advantage of their home field, which has saw them only suffer one defeat in their last nine game playing at Allianz Field, on top being undefeated in their three previous games against Los Angeles FC at home, outscoring their rivals 7-3 in those games.
Despite their recent struggles, LAFC continues to have a comfortable nine point lead over their closest rival in the Western Conference leaderboard, but the team wants to recover from this recent slump prior to entering the playoffs, after being the longtime favorites throughout the season to take home the MLS Cup at the end of the season and having a star studded roster.
