A big summer transfer window awaits Arsenal as they look certain to reinforce their striking options and make some impressive signings.
Mikel Arteta shipped off Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang in January following their debacle, while Alexandre Lacazette 's contract runs out this summer, along with Eddie Nketiah's.
And with the Spaniard still in the midst of rebuilding his squad in north London, further changes are expected ahead of next season, especially if they are to make a genuine challenge for silverware.
Real Sociedad striker Alexander Isak continues to be linked with a move to the Gunners following their strong interest in the January transfer window, as Arteta looks to bolster his frontline.
And former forward Jeremy Aliadiere has urged Arsenal to sign Isak, who "fits the bill" for the type of player that Arteta needs at the club.
What do you think Arsenal chances of signing Isak this summer are? Let us know what you think in the comments section below.
Speaking to BonusCodeBets, Aliadiere said: "He's still very young, got a lot of energy and I think in that team with a manager like Arteta, who's still very young, you would not want very, very experienced players that might have a bit of an ego.
"I think getting younger players that are still proven, still very good players, I think that's the way forward for the club."
Isak has been linked with a big move away from La Liga ever since impressing with his performances for Sweden at last summer's Euro 2020 tournament, despite not scoring, as his nation reached the last 16.
But as of this season, the 22-year-old has attracted further interest in his services after hitting eight goals in 31 appearances in all competitions.
The Gunners were seriously interested in completing a deal in January but were unable to do so, although it looks as though they will be heavily involved in negotiations for one of their top targets again this summer.
Lacazette has really stepped up since the departure of Aubameyang in January and has even taken on his captaincy duties, while he has played a great part in the side that doesn't just involve scoring goals.
But Aliadiere highlights the fact that, as good as Lacazette has been, Arsenal still need a proper no.9 up front who can score goals, and he feels Isak can fulfil that role.
He said: "We're going to need some strikers. We're going to need someone who's a number nine, somebody that plays up front.
"As much as I love Lacazette, obviously he's been on his own lately with the departure of Aubameyang. Lacazette might end up leaving as well. So we definitely need to attract some players and buy some players up front.
"A striker who makes runs, who stretches the defence, that is what we need and I think Isak offers that. He does that.
"And so far, as much as I love Lacazette, that's not his game. That's what we had Aubameyang to do.
"Lacazette is more of a 'come-and-get-involved in the play', a little number nine-and-a-half, ten, you know, role."
