Now 35 years of age, Messi is approaching the end of his career and features in a brand new Netflix documentary titled 'Champions of America', which documents Argentina's journey to Copa America glory in 2021.
Getting their hands on the trophy for the first time since 1993, Messi played a key role in his country's journey to glory and got emotional as he watched footage of supporters chanting 'Messi' after the final victory over Brazil.
Clearly choked up in released footage, Messi said: "I do not know. Wow.
"I think It was the most beautiful thing that happened to me in my sports career."

Messi will now turn his attention to this winter's World Cup with Argentina as he looks to add the biggest crown of all to his glittering trophy cabinet.
With the World Cup final possibly being the 35-year-old's 1000th match in football, one can only imagine how emotional he would be to win the showpiece event on such a landmark occasion.
