Fayza Lamari, mum of the Paris Saint-Germain forward, has seen Mbappe net five times so far to top the scoring charts at the 2022 World Cup.
Mbappe is two wins away from completing a World Cup double at the age of just 23, following his success in Russia four-years ago.
But speculation continues over his domestic future, even though he signed a contract extension at PSG in May.

Liverpool have previously been linked with a move for the Frenchman but the Reds have been priced out of a deal due to his huge contract with the Ligue 1 champions.
Mbappe has praised Jurgen Klopp's side in the past and revealed that he held discussions with Liverpool five-years ago before his switch from Monaco to PSG.
He also admitted that Liverpool is his mum's favourite club and the picture of her posing alongside the club crest would support his claim.

On his Liverpool talks, Mbappe told the Telegraph: "We talked a little bit, but not too much. We talked a little bit.
"I talked to Liverpool because it's the favourite club of my mum, my mum loves Liverpool. I don't know why, you will have to ask her! It's a good club and we met them five years ago. When I was in Monaco I met them. It's a big club."
It is not known whether the talks were influenced by Mbappe's mum but with his time in Ligue 1 possibly winding down, Anfield could well be a future destination for the star.
Mbappe has been in excellent form this season for Paris Saint-Germain, having registered 19 goals and five assists in 20 games across all competitions.

He has struck up a blossoming relationship with Lionel Messi in recent months and the duo could come head to head in Sunday's World Cup final.
