M arc Roca has flown to Germany to have a medical with Bayern Munich, ahead of a transfer to the Bundesliga champions.
If everything goes well then his transfer from Espanyol to Bayern Munich could be confirmed on Monday, for a fee that is expected to be between 10 and 15 million euros.
There was already interest in Roca from the Allianz Arena last summer and now Roca is available for a lower price as Espanyol are keen to sell following their relegation to the second division.
If they do sell Roca then they'll save a lot on salary and will be able to register Keidi Bare.
Roca also hasn't started the 2020/21 LaLiga SmartBank campaign at the level expected, even getting himself sent off in the 0-0 draw with Real Mallorca.
The midfielder's exit will be an emotional one, as he arrived at the club's academy in 2008.
In 2016/17, under Quique Sanchez Flores, he made the jump to the first team and has become one of the club's best players, playing especially well under Rubi.
In total, he has played 121 matches for Los Pericos.
