Man United title winner signs for ninth club at 36 and links up with Netherlands legend

Former Manchester United winger Nani is back in European football after securing a move to Turkish side Adana Demirspor.

The 36-year-old will return to Turkey following his 12-month stint at Fenerbahce in the 2015/16 season.

The Portuguese star has signed a one-year deal with the option of a further year and represents the ninth club of his career.

Nani links up with Netherlands legend Patrtick Kluivert who took over as head coach last month.

He took to Twitter on Thursday evening to inform fans of his latest move by posting a photo with club officials alongside the caption: "Very happy to be back in Turkey, representing @AdsKulubu! I'm ready to give my all for this club. Let's get to work!

Throughout his illustrious career, Nani had spells in Spain, Italy and Portugal whilst trying his hand in MLS with Orlando City.

More recently, the winger turned out for Australian A-League side Melbourne Victory but only managed to make ten appearances for the club after rupturing his anterior cruciate ligament.

Nani is best known for his time at Manchester United under Sir Alex Ferguson, where he spent eight seasons.

Alongside compatriot Cristiano Ronaldo, Nani scooped four Premier League titles and was part of the side that lifted the Champions League in 2008.

He followed a similar path to Ronaldo in signing for the Red Devils from Sporting Lisbon.
