The Brazilian was named Player of the Match in Manchester United's first ever Champions League match against PSG, despite only coming on in the second half.
Having gone behind 1-0 in the first half, the Red Devils needed all of Geyse's brilliance to get themselves back in the game.
And their determination was rewarded in the 70th minute when Melvine Malard - who recently scored on her debut - put things level as she also scored on her second appearance for the club.
At least for now, 23-year-old Malard can say she has scored on 100 per cent of her appearances.
But while the goal was not Geyse's, it was her tireless work on the right-hand-side that built so much of Manchester United's momentum.

While Manchester United are new to the Champions League, Geyse is certainly not.
The 25-year-old was part of the Barcelona team that won last season's Champions League title.
She contributed four goals and five assists for Barcelona on their road to victory - only Aitana Bonmati and Asisat Oshoala had better tallies for the club.
Geyse began her career with Brazilian club Corinthians in 2017, before moving to Madrid CFF later that year.
She then spent a year at Benfica before returning to Madrid CFF until 2022.
Her excellent last season at Barcelona gained the attention of Manchester United who signed her over summer for an undisclosed fee.
While Geyse has not yet scored for Manchester United, her flair, speed and skill mean it can only be a matter of time before she nets her first.
She will be hoping to replicate her strong performance when Manchester United travel to Paris for the second leg - nothing but a win will guarantee their progression in the Champions League.
But manager Marc Skinner is confident his side can pull off the result they need.
"I believe we can (win) anywhere so I am going to believe we can do it in Paris.
"We belong at this level, I have no doubt about that. We are going to need experience and to gain experience.
