New Leicester manager Smith has spoken about why he took the job as Foxes manager ahead of his first game in charge.
He said: "The main reason I took the job is because Craig [Shakespeare] and JT [John Terry] wanted to come as well.
"I looked at the squad and the fixtures and felt there were games there to be won. It's not insurmountable to get out of the trouble we're in."
Smith also addressed the mentality of the players at the club after months without a win.

"We've lost 7 of the last 8, so confidence is not high," he said. "I watched the Bournemouth game and if I was 80/20 then that maybe made me 50/50.
"But I know we've got the players here. We just want to start putting a smile on their faces."
