In second place are Liverpool, who picked up just two points fewer than Man City this year, largely owing to their tightly-contested title battle last year.
Meanwhile, current Premier League leaders Arsenal sit in third spot with 74 points in 34 games.
Tottenham and high-flying Newcastle sit in fourth and fifth in the table with 71 points each, however, Antonio Conte's side have played two more matches than the Magpies over the course of the calendar year.
