The 33-year-old has achieved that feat in just 278 matches across six seasons at Barcelona.

He joined the LaLiga club from Liverpool in 2014 for £65million where he quickly formed a formidable partnership with Lionel Messi.

Suarez has won 14 trophies during those six season while also cementing his legacy as one of the finest strikers of his generation.

For now, Suarez will not be worrying about climbing that list as there are more important things at stake this season.

The win against Espanyol closed the gap to Real Madrid to just one point but their rivals have a game in hand.

"Our goal is to win each of our three games," Suarez said after the win over Espanyol.

"Then we have to wait for the opponent to slip up. We're only thinking about our own games."
