The Egypt international has enjoyed a sensational start to the new campaign, already contributing three goals and three assists in as many Premier League fixtures.
That return has helped the Merseyside giants to victories over Ipswich Town, Brentford and Manchester United respectively, but speculation continues to persist regarding the versatile attacker's future.
With less than 12 months remaining on his contract, that will be the case until the 32-year-old makes a decision on the next phase of his career.
Although Salah suggested in the immediate aftermath of the win over Man United that 2024-25 could be his final campaign at Anfield, the latest report indicated that he is prioritising a contract extension.
Interest remains from Saudi Arabia
However, should Salah reach the turn of the year without signing a new contract, Liverpool will be left vulnerable to formal offers being presented to their star man from around Europe and the Middle East.
The latter scenario is far more significant due to the funds that teams in the Saudi Pro League are prepared to hand Salah in order to make the switch to that division.
As per CaughtOffside, three of the biggest Saudi clubs are preparing to present him with a lucrative proposal.
Al-Hilal, Al-Ittihad and Al-Ahli - each of whom are under the Public Investment Fund (PIF) ownership - are said to be ready to hand Salah a three-year contract worth €90m (£75.97m).
That would see Salah more than double the income that he currently earns at Liverpool, the clubs in question also avoiding having to pay the £150m transfer fee that was suggested last year.
Which club would be the best fit?
Having remained undefeated since the start of 2023-24, Salah joining reigning champions Al-Hilal seemingly makes the most sense.
Neymar and Malcom would be the direct competition for a place on the flank, with Aleksandar Mitrovic and Marcos Leonardo the options down the centre.
Al-Ittihad are hoping for a much-improved season after their dismal title defence. Moussa Diaby and Steven Bergwijn are the standout candidates in wide areas at present.
As it stands, Al-Ahli are perhaps in the biggest need of a new winger. Despite possessing a number of eye-catching names, Riyad Mahrez is the only player who is deployed in a similar role to Salah.
