The midfielder arrived from Bayern Munich in a 35-year-old deal over the summer and was seen by some as a cheaper alternative to Jude Bellingham or Moises Caicedo whom they'd also been linked with.
But Gravenberch has proven that he's no cheap fix having inspired Jurgen Klopp's side to a 5-1 win in the Europa League clash at Anfield.
Diogo Jota gave Liverpool the lead early on, before Thijs Dallinga drew the game level for Toulouse.
Wataru Endo then scored an excellent header to give the Reds the lead again, before Darwin Nunez made things much more comfortable.
As well as going close himself in both the first and second half, Gravenberch played a key role in Nunez's strike as he drove through the Toulouse defence before seeing the ball fall at the striker's feet to make it 3-1.
