The Reds travel to the Stade de France aiming to complete a treble and avenge their 2018 defeat to the Spanish giants in European football's showpiece fixture.
Only about 20,000 tickets were allocated to both teams in the 75,000-capacity arena, but tens of thousands more have travelled to the French capital.
Queues stretched back for miles at Dover as supporters tried to cross the channel on Friday.
But any stress on the commute would have been made worthwhile by the pre-match scenes on Saturday.
There was even an appearance from Liverpool legend Kenny Dalglish, who was serenaded on stage by the thousands of adoring fans below.
It is understood 6,000 police officers have been deployed in Paris, with local authorities expecting around 60,000 Reds fans to descend on the city.
"We expect upwards of 60,000 Liverpool fans alone to come, and about two-thirds will be without tickets," said a local police spokesman.
"There will be less from Madrid, but both sets of supporters will be encouraged to use fan zones and to respect others enjoying the city this weekend."
And those who could not make it to Paris were not about to miss out on the fun.
talkSPORT travelled to the heart of Merseyside, where fans were already lining the streets and chanting 'Allez, Allez, Allez' early on Saturday afternoon.
