Former Manchester United winger Jesse Lingard appears to be the most heavily sought-after free agent for Premier League and MLS clubs.
The English forward left his boyhood club at the end of last season when his contract expired.
He has since been available on a free transfer and there are a lot of clubs very keen on signing him.
With the World Cup in Qatar on the horizon, the 29-year-old wants to play and there are several options open to him.
In the Premier League, David Moyes' West Ham United are the most interested, according to the Daily Mail. His recent loan spell with the London club was very successful.
However, there is life beyond the Hammers. Everton, Tottenham and Newcastle, who tried to sign him in January without success, have also asked for him.
Interest in Jesse Lingard from MLS
On the other side of the pond, according to ESPN, Lingard has multiple proposals from MLS.
One of them is from DC United, who will be managed by his former teammate Wayne Rooney.
The former England player has started a new sporting project in Washington and would be interested in having Lingard as a star.
Now it is up to him to choose between his multiple destinations, with a place at the World Cup in Qatar at stake.
With six months left on his contract at Old Trafford, Lingard continued to play a small part for Manchester United, who did not renew him and did not allow him to leave on loan.
The England international brought the curtain down on his decade at Manchester United by playing just 540 minutes, spread over 21 games, in the whole of last season, scoring just two goals.
