Head coach Ange Postecoglou has been able to add a number of midfield and attacking players to his ranks during the summer transfer window.
Timo Werner and Wilson Odobert have been brought in to strengthen the depth in wide areas, with only Bryan Gil making the move elsewhere.
As a result, Postecoglou has as many as seven players who can be deployed on the flanks, and a total of nine players who can occupy roles in the final third.
Solomon is currently included in that list, yet it appears that the winger will soon be plying his trade in the Championship.
Leeds to win race for Solomon
According to the Daily Mail, the Israel international will undergo a medical at Leeds over the weekend.
Solomon has spent a prolonged period on the sidelines with a serious knee injury, Spurs now keen for the 25-year-old to get regular football under his belt.
He came through three matches during the club's pre-season tour, yet he has not made an outing since the July 27 fixture against Vissel Kobe.
Furthermore, the former Shakhtar Donetsk man was left out of the squad for the Premier League opener at Leicester City on August 19.
The last competitive outing came all the way back on September 30 after he had started the campaign with four starts and two substitute outings in all competitions.
A chance to rebuild at Leeds
Since making the switch to English football with Fulham in July 2022, Solomon has just 10 starts and 20 substitute outings to his name.
A total of five goals and two assists have come during that period, and Leeds will now hope to get the best out of a player who had previously starred for Shakhtar.
Should a transfer go through, head coach Daniel Farke will have Daniel James, Wilfried Gnonto, Largie Ramazani and Solomon as his wide options.
Farke could plausibly look to add another fresh face in that area before Friday's transfer deadline in an effort to ensure that Solomon is not over used in the short term.
