The 2022 edition of the Leagues Cup kicks off this Wednesday in a place that has never hosted a soccer game, the wonderful SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles, California, home of the last Super Bowl LVI will host the match between two teams that boast of being the most popular in their respective leagues, Los Angeles Galaxy representing MLS and Chivas de Guadalajara representing Liga MX.
However, that is not the story that really draws the attention of this match, the real protagonist will be the captain of the Southern California team, Mexican striker Javier "Chicharito" Hernandez who will be facing the team where he made his professional debut and from which he left Mexico to shine in Europe, especially with Manchester United.

Javier Hernandez, top scorer in the history of the Mexican national soccer team, debuted with Chivas in 2006 after playing in the lower divisions since 1997 and was with Guadalajara for four years before being sold to the Red Devils, now he is back on the same field with the team of his love.
