The England captain spent the first five months of his Bundesliga career staying in temporary accommodation after joining Bayern Munich in a club record £100million move from Tottenham.
Despite being near-flawless on the pitch with a record 21 goals in 15 league games, Kane had a slightly turbulent time off of it with the birth of his fourth child and the search for a new house.
Currently away on a beach holiday during the winter break, Kane will be moving into a beautiful new home with a rather amusing history when he returns to Bavaria.
But before all of that, he made a special effort to thank those who made him feel so welcome in Germany, taking a picture with the staff of Mandarin Oriental, thanking them for helping him 'settle in so well'.
One of those pictured, hotel manager Dominik Reiner, has now talked about Kane's stay, and what made him one of their best-ever guests despite an incredible list of global superstars and world leaders.

"He was definitely one of the most popular regular guests we've ever had with us," Reiner told Suddeutsche Zeitung. "At the end he greeted each colleague with a handshake and their name.
"He was one of the most down-to-earth guests we've ever had. We only did something special for the children when they were there. We set up tipis in the room for them to play in, for example.
"They were also allowed exclusive use of the pool on the roof terrace. But Harry hasn't asked for any extravagant wishes for himself.
"When we prepared a large Allianz Arena made of chocolate for him when he arrived, it went back to the patisserie untouched. That was probably too much sugar for him."

Kane's stay fascinated the media, with there being some concern that he was struggling to settle off of the field.
Reiner, though, revealed that in truth exactly the opposite was happening, and that the 30-year-old also had some extra privacy due to The Sun incorrectly reporting that he was staying at the Four Seasons hotel.
"That was wrong, he didn't spend a night there!" the manager confirmed. "A lot of German media picked up on it.
"Our marketing department struggled a bit, but the Four Seasons suddenly got great PR. But we thought it was nice, and so did Harry, that everyone thought he lived somewhere else. This ensured his privacy. After all, we attach great importance to discretion.
"Harry stayed in one of our large suites, the Bavaria Suite, which is around 120 square metres. So there was room for all the hat-trick balls that he brought home after the games.
"His wife Kate gave birth to their fourth child in England and then regularly came to Munich to visit with the children. But Harry's brother Charlie and his parents were also there, the family came and went.
"Regarding the price, you should know that Harry received a volume discount as a long-term guest, so he paid less than 4000 euros per night. About the artwork: There were pictures of the Bavarian mountains in Harry's room! Hopefully he felt at home there."
Reiner went on to reveal that Kane regularly got a taste of home with bacon and baked beans, while he ate sushi almost every night.
"The Kanes have not hidden away, on the contrary," he said. "They were very open, very approachable.
"For example, we offered afternoon tea in the lobby with scones and clotted cream, which we had his parents test to see whether they met English requirements.
"They were very satisfied. Our patisserie chef read English recipes especially for the Kanes in order to get the scones fluffy."
But where does Kane rank in terms of the very best guests Reiner has dealt with? Well not at the top, but the striker will understand why.
"My personal favourite for 2023 was Michelle Obama," he said.
