James Maddison looking to equal Ruud van Nistelrooy goalscoring record

Brendan Rodgers's side will travel to the Brentford Community Stadium in desperate need of a win following a poor run of form.

Although Leicester have experienced a disappointing campaign, Maddison continues to be a key player for his side, scoring nine goals and providing five assists in 19 league games this season.

Having scored more goals and registered more assists than any other Leicester player this term, Maddison will be crucial to Leicester's survival efforts.

The Englishman will be relishing a trip to the English capital after scoring in each of his last four Premier League away appearances against London sides.

Maddison began the scoring run in a 1-1 draw against Chelsea at the end of the last season, and he has found the net in away meetings with Arsenal, Tottenham Hotspur and West Ham United this term.

The midfielder now has the chance to become just the second player to score in five consecutive Premier League visits to the capital for a non London-based side.

The feat has only ever been achieved by Van Nistelrooy, who found the net on five successive trips to the capital for Manchester United between September 2002 and September 2003.

Jonny Evans returned from a long spell on the sidelines to feature as a late substitute last weekend, but he has suffered an injury setback.

Rodgers has revealed that Northern Ireland international has picked up a knock, which could keep him out of Saturday's clash.

The Foxes are also unable to call upon the services of Victor Kristiansen, Youri Tielemans and James Justin.
