The Lilywhites eased past Nottingham Forest 2-0 last Friday, but Yves Bissouma was sent off for the second time this season, while Destiny Udogie also collected his fifth yellow card of the new term.
While Udogie's name will only appear on the banned list for one match, Bissouma is set to begin a four-game suspension this weekend, and Postecoglou also remains without nearly a full team of injured players.
Indeed, all of Alfie Whiteman (ankle), Rodrigo Bentancur (ankle), Ashley Phillips (ankle), James Maddison (ankle), Ivan Perisic (knee), Manor Solomon (knee), Micky van de Ven (hamstring) and Ryan Sessegnon (hamstring) are still absent, while Brennan Johnson (head) and Giovani Lo Celso (knock) are doubtful.
Johnson's reunion with Forest ended prematurely due to a nasty head wound, but Postecoglou confirmed that the Welshman was not suffering from a concussion and should be fine to reprise his role in the Lilywhites attack.
An unchanged offensive quartet should therefore comprise Johnson, Son Heung-min, Richarlison and Dejan Kulusevski, who contributed a goal and assist in last week's success at the City Ground.
Further back, Bissouma's suspension should open the door for Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg to join Pape Sarr in the engine room, while Emerson Royal could operate as a makeshift left-back in place of Udogie.
Postecoglou also has the option of shifting Ben Davies across to his more familiar role with Eric Dier back from a groin problem, but the Welshman put in another strong shift alongside Cristian Romero against Forest and may therefore continue as one of Guglielmo Vicario's main protectors.
Tottenham Hotspur possible starting lineup: Vicario; Porro, Romero, Davies, Royal; Hojbjerg, Sarr; Johnson, Kulusevski, Son; Richarlison
