Erling Haaland was the difference maker for Norway in their Nations League clash away at Serbia on Thursday night, with the Manchester City striker scoring the only goal of the game.
The match did not start well for Haaland as the striker missed a one-on-one in the 18th minute. He received a through ball from Mohamed Elyounoussi but he blazed over the bar from close range.
However, his goal came in the 26th minute, as Marcus Pedersen set up the former Borussia Dortmund man to tuck away the decisive strike.
The star of the start of the second half was Orjan Nyland. The Norway goalkeeper denied Luka Jovic in a one-on-one in the 49th minute and saved Aleksandar Mitrovic's subsequent rebound.
Nyland was at his best in the 55th minute: he saved Darko Lazovic's shot, then kept out Jovic's close-range effort before denying Sergej Milinkovic-Savic.
