The return to the top flight has been tough for both Green and Fürth. The USMNT international has alternated between starting and being on the bench in recent weeks as the Clover Leaves seek to turn around their fortunes. Their only point of the season came on Matchday 2 in a 1-1 draw with Arminia Bielefeld, meaning they have lost all eight assignments since and prop up the bottom of the table. Coach Stefan Leitl has a number of absentees to contend with, including defensive leader Nick Viergever after he suffered a serious ankle injury in last week's 3-1 defeat at Freiburg. They will at least be relieved that Branimir Hrgota, Jamie Leweling and Cedric Itten - three of their four goalscorers this season - are all fit and set to start.
Borre's start to life in the Bundesliga has been comparatively better, having featured in every match so far for Frankfurt. The Colombian's sole goal came in the 1-1 draw with Cologne, which preceded Eintracht's only league victory of the season, away at Bayern Munich. Two defeats and a draw with RB Leipzig have followed, leaving The Eagles flying dangerously close to the drop zone and only ahead of 16th-placed Augsburg on goal difference. Filip Kostic missed Thursday's UEFA Europa League game away at Olympiacos, but could be fit to feature on this domestic trip. Captain Sebastian Rode has been eased back into action following injury, but may have to wait his turn behind Djibril Sow and Kristijan Jakic.
Match stats
Hrgota was part of the Frankfurt team that won the 2018 DFB Cup. He's scored three and set up one of Fürth's league-low seven goals.
Greuther's total of one point from the first 10 games equals Saarbrücken's record from the Bundesliga's maiden season as the worst start by a team.
Fürth are still yet to win a home game across their two campaigns in the Bundesliga (D5, L16).
Kostic has two goals and four assists this campaign. No player in the league has been directly involved in a greater proportion of his team's goals (60 percent).
Ten goals is Frankfurt's lowest total after 10 games since 2005/06.
The Eagles' sole Bundesliga win of the season came away at Bayern. The only other time they've had so few at this stage was in 1983/84, when they only survived the drop via the play-off.
