We are only in mid-November, but thoughts are already turning towards who will win the 2021/22 European Golden Boot after Robert Lewandowski took home the award last season.
The current leaders for the award are three players plying their trade in Norway, yet some of the continent's big hitters are quickly rising up the standings.
The award, which is given out by the European Sports Media, with MARCA as its Spanish representative, will be given out after the close of this current season, so there is still plenty of time for the likes of Lewandowski, Karim Benzema and Mohamed Salah to put themselves in a strong position to secure the honour.

Ohi Omoijuanfo is leading the way
Ohi Omoijuanfo might be a name that not many are familiar with, but Molde's Norwegian striker has been in fine form so far this season and has grabbed 24 goals, which is comfortably ahead of Lewandowski's 13 for the time being.
However, due to the nature of the European Golden Boot ratings, it will not take long for Europe's prolific marksmen to catch up Omoijuanfo.
"Every goal scored in the top five leagues is rewarded with two points. In the lower leagues with one point. Among them are leagues where a goal is awarded 1.5 points," the European Sports Media explain on their website.
