Lille vs. Brest (Friday, 6.00pm)
Two of France's Champions League representatives meet at the Stade Pierre-Mauroy in Ligue 1 on Friday, when Lille host Brest.
Bruno Genesio's men have dealt with the additional requirements needed to battle on two fronts more so than their opponents so far this season, and that is shown by their position in the top four.
We say: Lille 1-0 Brest
Not even Europe's finest have been able to beat Lille over the past three months, and they should be able to keep that run going against a Brest side who have flattered to deceive domestically, despite heroics in Europe.
Both clubs may have one eye on their Champions League fixtures next week, but should still both name strong sides in what could be a close encounter.
Auxerre vs. PSG (Friday, 8.00pm)
Under-fire manager Luis Enrique will take his Paris Saint-Germain side to Auxerre in Ligue 1 on Friday night.
PSG dropped points against Nantes last weekend, just days after suffering yet another defeat in the Champions League.
We say: Auxerre 1-2 Paris Saint-Germain
Despite excellent form at home this season, Auxerre will still find it very tough against the only remaining unbeaten side in Ligue 1, regardless of their well-documented troubles.
Enrique would probably trade a result here to ensure they win on Tuesday, but even with a slightly rotated team, they should have enough to beat a tricky Auxerre outfit.
