The Red Devils and their local rivals Manchester City went head-to-head at Wembley on Saturday, with Pep Guardiola's side running out as winners with a 2-1 victory.
But a fantastic game of football was sadly dampened by a spectator choosing to wear a Man United kit referencing the Hillsborough disaster on the back.
The shirt had the number 97 - representing those that tragically died as a result of the tragedy in 1989 - alongside the words 'not enough'.
With the photograph of the individual circulating on Twitter, the Metropolitan Police then responded to provide an update on the situation.
"We are aware of this and have worked proactively with officials at Wembley Stadium," they tweeted.
