Sesko shined at Red Bull Salzburg before completing a switch to Bundesliga outfit RB Leipzig in the summer.
Haaland also had a spell at the Austrian club before sealing his move to Germany when he signed for Borussia Dortmund.
Comparisons between the two are therefore somewhat inevitable, but Sesko insists he is a different player to the Norwegian.
Speaking to journalists in an online call on Monday, he said: "I already said that I'm my own player.

"The only thing that we have kind of similar is, of course, height. And also, we're both fast, but in general we have a different style of playing."
He added: "This is comparing [to] someone who is one of the best players in the world. So it's not easy to compare.

"I just loved to look at him," he said on the former Ajax, Juventus, Inter Milan, Barcelona, AC Milan, Paris Saint-Germain and Manchester United star.
"He was making fun, he was enjoying [himself] on the pitch. He was doing what he wanted to do. And that makes me really happy when I see that kind of player like him."

The youngster was asked about such speculation but said: "I think it was just better for me to come here."
Sesko has already scored three goals in his first six Leipzig appearances as he continues his impressive rise in football.
