The 33-year-old striker is currently without a club after he was released from Australian side Perth Glory last June.
Sturridge has not yet officially announced a retirement from football but is yet to play a game since April last year.
He has two Champions League titles to his name thanks to his success at both Chelsea and Liverpool, as well as one Premier League and two FA Cup winners' medals.
Fans remember him well for his iconic arm-wave celebration after scoring some of his 119 competitive goals.
It seems as though Sturridge is now ready to bring his moves onto a different stage as The Sun report he will be on the BBC's hit show.
