England put on perhaps the greatest performance in the history of the women's national team with an incredible 8-0 win over Norway.
A nervous display in their Women's Euro 2022 opener against Austria led to many believing the Amex Stadium clash would be a tense and tight encounter, with the Norwegians boasting a number of top players in their ranks, including Ballon d'Or winner Ada Hegerberg.
But Hegerberg and co. were blown out of the water by Sarina Wiegman's scintillating side, who scored six of their eight goals in the first half.
Understandably, many of the 28,847 in attendance were jubilant as they witnessed the stunning performance with the 'football's coming home' chorus of the popular song Three Lions ringing around the stands on many different occasions.
However, there's no chance Wiegman will let her players get carried away.
Manchester City forward Ellen White, who scored twice in the match, told talkSPORT: "In this camp it's all about taking every game as it comes and as a group we want to make everyone proud of this England team - everyone proud at the stadiums and then everyone watching at home, we want to make them proud.
"Hopefully you could see that tonight and hopefully we can move forward. We're loving every minute."
Manchester United's Alessia Russo, who scored England's sixth goal, added: "I think in camp we know we're humble and of course a result like that is going to make noise but I think we've got to remember it's still only the group stage.
"We've got lots more big games to come and we want to keep improving… we've just got to keep focused."
"We just want to do well," Wiegman told talkSPORT. "We have a dream but we take it match by match and next match we want to win.
"We have nothing now, we still have nothing.
"It's really nice that we have this good game and we're only talking about football and being in the now.
"We hope we in every next game."
