Borre has been in sizzling form on the continent this season, finding the target against Olympiacos, Barcelona and West Ham to help Frankfurt into their first European final since 1980, when they beat Bundesliga rivals Borussia Mönchengladbach to lift the old UEFA Cup. Borre bagged another on Saturday - taking his season haul to 11 goals and eight assists in all competitions - as Die Adler concluded their 2021/22 Bundesliga campaign with a 2-2 draw in Mainz. Oliver Glasner put a full-strength side out against the 05ers, with none of the usual first XI rested apart from injury absentees Martin Hinteregger and Jesper Lindstrom. Centre-back Hinteregger will miss the final with a thigh problem, but Lindstrom is expected to be fit to play after returning to training this week. Further back, Sebastian Rode is likely to lead the team out, starting in midfield ahead of Kristijan Jakic.
Rangers beat Borussia Dortmund and RB Leipzig on the way to this season's final, but they remain underdogs against a Frankfurt who beat them 12-4 on aggregate on the way to the final of the European Cup final back in 1960, in which they were beaten 7-3 by Real Madrid. The Glasgow side surrendered their Scottish league title to rivals Celtic this season, and put a heavily-rotated side out against Heart of Midlothian on Saturday, with the likes of former Freiburg man Ryan Kent not even making journey to Edinburgh. He should return in attack, with captain James Tavernier on the right flank - setting up a mouth-watering battle with Filip Kostic. Borre's Colombia teammate Alfredo Morelos is ruled out with a thigh injury of his own.
Match stats
Kostic has produced 14 assists this season, including a tournament-leading five in the Europa League.
Borre finished the Bundesliga season on a team-leading eight goals, but Daichi Kamada is Frankfurt's top scorer in Europe with five.
Eintracht have reached the final without losing (W7, D5), while Rangers have lost five of their 14 fixtures (W6, D3).
Frankfurt are averaging 1.66 goals per Europa League game compared to Rangers' strike rate of 1.57.

Frankfurt are through to their third European competition final. They thumped Rangers 12-4 over two legs on their way to the 1960 European Cup final, where they lost to Real, before beating Gladbach in the two-legged 1980 UEFA Cup final.
