Cristiano Ronaldo could be seen furiously 'mocking' someone following one of Mo Salah's goals in Liverpool 's demolition of Manchester United.
The Portuguese superstar cut a frustrated figure throughout Sunday's match which saw his United side humiliated by fierce rivals Liverpool in a 5-0 rout.
Ronaldo kicked out at Liverpool's Curtis Jones as his temper boiled over with his side trailing by four goals shortly before half time.
United's iconic number seven then saw a strike of his own ruled out by VAR for offside early in the second half.
Mo Salah netted a Liverpool hat-trick following early strikes by Naby Keita and Diogo Jota as United's Paul Pogba received his marching orders for a reckless second-half lunge.
Cristiano Ronaldo appeared to mock Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's tactics
Video footage has now emerged showing that following one of Salah's strikes, five-time Ballon d'Or winner Ronaldo gesticulated in a mocking manner.
In response to Salah finding the net for Liverpool, Ronaldo could be seen standing with his shoulders slumped before flailing his arms around and furiously pointing in all directions.
It is unclear who Ronaldo's mocking reaction was aimed at or what he was referencing within his gesticulations.
Some have speculated that the Portuguese winger may have been referring to his manager's tactics after Ole Gunnar Solskjaer opted to press Jurgen Klopp's side.
United's tactical approach drew widespread criticism as Liverpool found it easy to play out from the back and broke through the Red Devils' press time and time again.
Another belief is that Ronaldo was expressing his frustrations at his side's defence, which looked a disorganised mess with Liverpool pulling United's back-line out of shape and position with ease.
It has also been speculated that his outburst was aimed at a fellow teammate, perhaps Bruno Fernandes, following a string of wayward passes.
And Ronaldo's frustrations don't end there with it appearing that United's returning hero has reportedly become irritated with teammate Mason Greenwood, according to ESPN.
The 36-year-old is understood to have grown frustrated with the United youngsters' tendency to shoot instead of passing to teammates.
Despite manager Solskjaer taking full responsibility for Sunday's humiliating defeat, Ronaldo took to social media to suggest it was the players who were accountable for the damning result.
"Sometimes the result is not the one we fight for. Sometimes the score is not the one we want," Ronaldo posted.
"And this is on us, only on us, because there's no one else to blame. Our fans were, once again, amazing in their constant support.
"They deserve better than this, much better, and it's up to us to deliver. The time is now!"

The 5-0 hammering was the heaviest defeat Ronaldo has experienced in a United shirt, in what was his 301st appearance.
Since making a sensational Old Trafford return, Ronaldo has netted six goals in nine appearances, including the dramatic late winner in United's 3-2 comeback win over Atalanta in the Champions League last Wednesday.
The big games come thick and fast as United travel to Tottenham Hotspur in the Premier League on Saturday and are looking to bounce back immediately, before another Champions League outing against Atalanta and the Manchester derby on 6 November.
