Liverpool are at risk of a nightmare last 16 tie as the draw takes place for the Champions League knockout stages.

Jurgen Klopp's side finished second in their group meaning they will be pitted against a seeded team in the next round of the competition. That opens the door to a tough challenge against Bayern Munich or Real Madrid with Benfica and Porto the only other two teams they could face.

Fellow Premier League clubs Chelsea, Manchester City and Tottenham all topped their groups meaning they will face one of the unseeded sides. However, Paris Saint-Germain are amongst them as well as AC Milan, Borussia Dortmund, Club Brugge, Eintracht Frankfurt, Inter Milan and Leipzig.

After plenty of group stage drama, the competition is hotting up entering the knockout stages, which will take place after the Qatar World Cup. The last-16 first legs will take place on 14-15 and 21-22 February, with the second legs on 7-8 and 14-15 March.

Stay tuned for live coverage as the draw gets underway in Zurich at 11am GMT.
