Carragher fumes at Watford vs Norwich floodlight fiasco and says 'it's not cricket'

The game was paused in the 60th minute when one section of the floodlights went down.

Despite repeated attempts to turn them back on, they could only flicker briefly.

The Norwich fans were chanting 'we'll play in the dark' and held their phone torches up.

It was announced that the maintenance staff were working 'flat out' to get them all working again, but to no avail.

Liverpool legend Jamie Carragher was none too happy with what was happening as there enough light to still play.

On Sky Sports, Carragher said: "You can still play! Everyone can see what's going on, it's not Cricket!"

After a 10 minute delay to play, both teams agreed to carry on with the floodlights partially on.

Norwich were 1-0 up at the time of the deal with Josh Sargent scoring his first Premier League goal since his move from Werder Bremen in the summer.

Sargent then scored his second shortly after the break for Dean Smith's side to put them 2-0 ahead at Vicarage Road.

In stoppage time, Norwich added a third to put the game beyond the hosts when Juraj Kucka diverted a ball from Adam Idah past Bachmann and into his own net.
