Cameroon and Serbia play out six-goal thriller as Milinkovic-Savic and Aboubakar star

Cameroon and Serbia had fans drooling on Monday afternoon by treating them to a six-goal thriller.

Lazio midfielder Sergej Milinkovic-Savic pulled the strings in the first half to put his country in command as they took the lead after going 1-0 down.

Jean-Charles Castelletto's well-taken effort was cancelled out by Strahinja Pavlović's equaliser as Serbia took control as Cameroon, with Devis Epassy replacing the dropped Andre Onana in goal, looking vulnerable.

However, Milinkovic-Savic wasn't done yet as he choreographed Serbia's third just minutes into the second half as Fulham star Aleksandar Mitrovic scored.

While Serbia looked dominant, an inspired substitution changed the game for the African nation.

Vincent Aboubakar was introduced after 55 minutes and bagged a goal and an assist in just 11 second-half minutes to earn a 3-3 draw for Cameroon, keeping their hopes of progressing to the next round alive.

As for Serbia, they'll also need win their final group stage clash with Switzerland in order to have any chance of progressing.
