Goalkeeper
Yann Sommer
Club: Borussia Mönchengladbach
Points: 80
Value: 10.2M
Yann Sommer's made a joint-league-high number of saves (44) across Borusssia Mönchengladbach's first seven matches, including a record 19 in the 1-1 draw with Bayern Munich alone. He's also kept three clean sheets, whilst conceding five goals. Only Freiburg's Mark Flekken (five) and Union Berlin's Frederik Rönnow (four) have fared better respectively.
Defenders
Benjamin Pavard
Club: Bayern Munich
Points: 72
Value: 12M
Benjamin Pavard is among Bayern's top three for total points. He's one of three players at the club to have broken the 70-point mark, but leads the way for average points per game with 14. Goal attempts and won duels (both 20 pts. apiece) are where the French right-back does the most damage.
Ramy Bensebaini
Club: Borussia Mönchengladbach
Points: 72
Value: 12.4M
Ramy Bensebaini's right up there with Pavard for goal attempts (16 pts.) and won duels (26 pts.). The Gladbach defender, who can play in the centre of defence or at left-back - and shares penalty responsiblitlies with Alassane Plea, Lars Stindl and Jonas Hofmann - has also scored two goals worth 12 points.
Jonas Hector
Club: Cologne
Points: 74
Value: 10.5M
Listed as a midfielder last season, Jonas Hector is well on his way to trumping his 171-point return now his Fantasy position matches up to his real-life role as a left-back. The Cologne captain might just be the biggest surprise of the season for Fantasy Managers. He's certainly the best in terms of points-to-value among defenders over 10M.

Christian Günter
Club: Freiburg
Points: 70
Value: 10.5M
Everybody loves Christian Günter, who's among the top three most popular Fantasy defenders so far this season (30 percent ownership). Playing for a high-flying, waternight unit such as Freiburg helps his cause: the Germany international is on double figures for goal attempts, passes to a shot, won duels, clean sheets and minutes played.
Midfielders
Vincenzo Grifo
Club: Freiburg
Points: 71
Value: 14.5M
Vincenzo Grifo also makes the grade, aided and abetted by his team-leading goal contribution of three goals and one assist. His set-piece prowess - the Freiburg midfielder takes corners, free-kicks and penalties - make him an invaluable addition to any Fantasy team. And he's cheaper than the likes of Nkunku, Joshua Kimmich and Marco Reus.
Joshua Kimmich
Club: Bayern Munich
Points: 76
Value: 16.7M
Speaking of Kimmich, no one in a Bayern shirt has totalled as many Fantasy points at this juncture. The midfield terrier, another dead-ball specialist, guarantees points for passes to a shot (18) and goal attempts (15). He also seems to be the only outfield player at Julian Nagelsmann's disposal immune from rotation.
Florian Kainz
Club: Cologne
Points: 73
Value: 9.3M
Florian Kainz offers Fantasy's sought-after double whammy: lashings of points at a relatively low price. He's been involved in more goals than any Cologne player this season and ranks joint fourth league wide for combined goals (two) and assists (three). There is no greater bang for your buck in the 9-10M price bracket.
Forwards
Jamal Musiala
Club: Bayern Munich
Points: 74
Value: 13.1M
There was a collective groan among Fantasy Managers when it was revealed Jamal Musiala had been reassigned as a forward for the new season. Fast forward a few months, and the former midfield trump card is causing headaches of a different kind. The Germany international is Bayern's four-goal top scorer - but doesn't always start.
Sheraldo Becker
Club: Union Berlin
Points: 81
Value: 10.9M
Sheraldo Becker's one of only two men to have outscored Musiala. He is, in fact, the Bundesliga's leading marksman, ahead of five-goal Werder Bremen counterpart Niclas Füllkrug (6.5M). The Surinamese forward's six strikes have helped propel Union to the top of the Bundesliga. He's also his team's top provider (three assists) and most trigger-happy player (17 attempts).
Marcus Thuram
Club: Borussia Mönchengladbach
Points: 79
Value: 11.9M
Marcus Thuram has fired off 10 more shots on goal than Becker. The Gladbach forward has hit the target with 15 of them, whilst scoring three. He may not be the most prolific forward, but his effort levels translate into a healthy 24 points for goal attempts and a total per-game average of 11. Imagine the star potential, when everything clicks...
