Arsenal could be in luck with their latest transfer target, Bruno Guimaraes.
The Lyon midfielder has once again been linked with a move to the Emirates, along with Everton and newly-loaded Newcastle United.
Football.london report that the Gunners are monitoring the three-capped Brazilian, who has starred in Ligue 1 and the Europa League this season alongside another name that the Emirates faithful will be familiar with: Houssem Aouar.
It follows Guimaraes' confirmation that there was an approach for his services from north London over the summer, although Mikel Arteta and co did not make a formal bid.
The 24-year-old told Globo, in quotes carried by GFFN : "Arsenal approached my agent, but there was no offer. My aim, and I made it clear to Juninho, is to win a title with Lyon.
"The fans have not had one for a long time. We have the Coupe de France, the Europa League and the league.
"It is difficult with the level that PSG are at, but anything can happen."

But it is clear Guimaraes would entertain the idea of a switch to England, adding: "My aim is to win a title here, but I have never hidden my desire to play in the Premier League."
It certainly seems like the playmaker would improve Arsenal, whose midfield options are waning due to Ainsley Maitland-Niles ' impending transfer to Roma.
Statically, Guimaraes' five assists this term is level Nicolas Pepe, who ranks top of the charts in the Gunners' squad.
And his average of 1.4 chance created per-match is only second to Martin Odegaard at the Emirates, who boasts a superb 1.9.
That rate is particularly impressive given that the Lyon man occupies a much more reserved role at the Groupama Stadium than Odegaard does for Arsenal.
Having thrived this campaign under manager Peter Bosz, Guimaraes seems happy with the French giants - unfortunately for those across the channel.
"I think I'm an intelligent player, but with him [Bosz] I'm developing a new way of thinking, of playing," the ex- Athletico Paranaense starlet told his current club's website in October.
"It means a lot to me, intelligence, to have vision of the game, of a sense of play.
"I arrived with a lot of confidence, then I got injured, so I had a bit of a difficult time. But that's normal in a player's career. Today I feel good, I had never felt like this before.
"At OL, I feel right at home. I have the confidence of the coach, with a new way of playing, a new style, which totally suits me. Now I want to make the World Cup squad next year, I have everything to play for this season.
"I've started well, I have a good level, but I still have a lot of things to improve upon. It reminds me a bit of my arrival."
Gunners boss Arteta was coy when recently asked the club's plans for the January window, with technical director Edu reportedly working hard to secure comings and goings before deadline day.
"We are expecting some activity because of a few players, and we have a few loans that hopefully we will have to complete," the Spaniard explained.
"But it depends, as we all know it's a very complicated market, and it's a short window, so we'll see what happens."
