Bosnia-Herzegovina vs Finland Head to head (h2h)
Apart from an international friendly back in 2004, Finlandâs 2-0 victory over Bosnia is their only recent meeting.
Bosnia-Herzegovina vs Finland Prediction
Robert Prosineckiâs men are now five points adrift of a direct qualification spot from Group J. Despite routing Liechtenstein by a whopping 5-0 scorecard in their previous home clash, the hosts were taken down by Armenia in their most recent matchup, with the final scores reading 4-2 in favor of the latter.
The home team have tasted success just twice in their campaign, only one of which came from their last four games.
Finland have been faring a lot better in comparison. And, are now in contention for a top-two finish alongside Italy. The squad have admitted defeat just twice so far, both of which, to their defense, were against the current table-toppers.
It is also worth mentioning that the Finnish outfit have come out on top in four of their last five matchups and have tasted success in two out of their previous three outings. Considering that Finland secured all three points without breaking much of a sweat when they last locked horns as well, the visitors are the favorites to edge it past Bosnia in this one.
Be that as it may, though, the hosts are unbeaten in their previous three games here. Taking into account that one of those fixtures also saw the hosts avoid defeat by holding counterparts Armenia to a draw, the safest punt is undoubtedly a double chance favoring Finland.
Furthermore, Bosnia have scored nine goals from their last three games here. Although the visitors have been keeping a clean sheet in their last two outings in a running, a repeat of the same will be difficult this weekend. Especially considering that the hosts have been scoring two goals or more in each of their past three home clashes.
Additionally, Teemu Pukki has found the back of the net in each of Finlandâs last four fixtures. Given that he bagged a brace when the two sides last locked horns, brave punters can even count on the Finnish forward to get his name on the scoresheet.
